The date for the formation of shortlists of Nominees for the World Technology Award “Technology Angel”, which is part of the Global Awards “Angel for Sustainable Development” #SDGAction40297 is determined until 06.28.2024, in the following categories:

TECHNOLOGICAL ANGEL in the field of technological development of the agro-industrial complex and agriculture “For contribution to achieving SDG 2: Ending hunger, ensuring food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agricultural development”;

TECHNOLOGICAL ANGEL in the field of technologies for the development of healthcare and medicine “For contribution to achieving SDG 3: Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages”;

TECHNOLOGICAL ANGEL in the field of technology for the development of quality education “For contribution to achieving SDG 4: Ensuring inclusive, equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all”;

Effective specialized institutions for the development of subjects of the world in the field of technological development: “For contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”;

Subjects of the world’s states providing support to small, medium and large businesses in the field of implementation and development of modern technologies”: “For contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”;

Subjects of the world’s states with a favorable climate for technological development”: “For their contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”

The first stage of the competitive selection was carried out on the basis of submitted applications from regional leadership, with recommendations of worthy candidates (nominees) who have made a significant contribution to the sustainable development of regions and top-level territorial entities. The shortlist of first-stage nominees was formed from a number of candidates submitted by regional leadership and international organizations with consultative status with the UN ECOSOC.

The previously announced Laureates of the Global Awards “Angel for Sustainable Development” #SDGAction40297 are posted on the official resource of the UN SDG Action Campaign, established by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to stimulate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The winners of the next stages will be posted on the official resource of the UN SDG Action Campaign after their official announcement.
